Review on Sennheiser HD 300 Closed Back Around Ear Headphone - Superior Sound and Comfort by Patrick Diaz

I bought this as an upgrade to the 201 I've had on my desk for years and was hoping that a cable on one side would be less of a nuisance than a Y - cable 201. I have to say this was NOT the update I was hoping for. Sound quality is good - I'm by no means a music lover, according to YMMV - but the earpads are noticeably narrower. Snug fitting between the ear and the smaller pinna. Oh. Sure, they block noise, but I can't wear them for more than 30-40 minutes. I could leave the 201 on for 3 hours or more. The cable is also short, which I didn't expect. (Well, in short, as in "not long on the cheap version", just the standard 3 foot length.) I get nervous all the time forgetting that I have a very limited range of motion from my computer, when i wear it you. So, I don't have $50 and I'm annoyed. [And in the current global pandemic situation, returning items is a safety hazard when I leave my home, so I'm really stuck.]
