Pros
- Very good, even in frequency response, deep sound; in general, very smooth in sound, headphones, detailed, with a high resolution for this price, it is not in vain that the title "HD" is written. Excellent mids, modest, neat, not clogging everything (like in cheap models) bottom, not too articulated, excellent, one might say, monitor top. In fact, these headphones, based on my very large experience of listening to various hi-fi setups in different price categories, can be called the best option in this price (they cost me 2990). Very comfortable to wear, soft leatherette ear cushions, high-quality assembly, comfortable, folding design. The sound is close to the monitor, having a slightly modest tightened, soft, low bass, excellent, accurate mids and close to the ideal dry, very clean crystal top. The sound conveys vocal recordings as accurately as possible, listening to vocal parts on a good source on these headphones is not only possible, but also necessary :-). Classical styles in music, especially BSO - a large symphony orchestra, headphones do not transmit on a large scale (there is no "scene", which is not a minus, since most headphones have it a priori according to the laws of physics, only some headphones have this feature ("scene" ), say MB Quart QP 400 - they just feel incredible space, as if you are sitting in a recording room). This model is ideal for listening to music in a lossless format on a portable tablet, smartphone, better, in FLAC or APE format (for which I actually bought them), you shouldn’t even think about any MP3 - it’s just kill the full potential of the headphones. To be honest, I didn’t think that headphones for 3000 could play at such a level, I thought there would be a general mumbling at the level of very basic Senheisers, but no, I didn't guess. :-) Perfect for listening to music on a portable, but I think when using a source, such as an external DAC, they will reveal themselves in all their glory.
Cons
- For this price, there are no cons. Well, maybe there is no "scene", but it is not in more expensive "ears", for 9000. and 15 000. and 30,000. even. The folding design of the headphones makes the overall design a little flimsy, it is advisable to store the headphones without folding them, but simply hanging them on a headphone support, or simply putting them somewhere on a shelf, the headband is quite thin, although it is made with high quality, with a rubberized, soft part on the inside soul parts. Cropped, rather modest, softened, lows, although quite articulated, but still do not shine with fundamentality, the upper range is rather restrained (for those who are used to "chicaning" and "tinkling" they will not work), I personally "top" seemed "correct" as it should be. So, a year later, I decided to supplement my review, the headphones are still working, but two casings have broken off, covering the hinges in the folding part of the darling on both sides, just the plastic has dried out from time to time and cracked. Otherwise, they are still working headphones, the sound is a little muffled when compared with AKGs, or Quarts, but the overall sound is detailed and even - there is practically no lower bass as such. I think those 3000 that I paid for them are probably a bit too much, the price for them, I think, is 2022. maximum. For home listening to music on a computer with a good sound card - more than enough. Under normal hi-fi, the set is rather weak.
