I bought a thermometer here and ordered earbuds for it. 2 days after my return window closed it stopped working at all. Even after changing the battery it was dead. I ordered a new one and the main difference I noticed with this thermometer compared to the other is that there is absolutely no lag when reading the temperature. No matter whether I take the temperature with the forehead or the ear, the latter has a delay in reading the temperature. With that, as soon as I touch my forehead or put it in my ear as soon as I press that button, I get a temperature reading. I checked if the ear pads would make a difference and whether I wear them or not I still get the same readings. I have to sanitize it after each use, but even with daily use it still works great. Also, I've had it for about 2 weeks now and even with consistent daily use I still have the same batteries as the day I got it.
