Revainrating 5 out of 5

Strong mount, very strong suction, don't expect any wobble, this is not a stabilizing gimbal.

Phones Tested: Galaxy Note 9 and iPhone 7 Above all, don't expect to be able to stretch both arms 180 degrees and get frustrated when it wobbles a little. I didn't notice it either when I ordered it, but there is a clamp bar that you use after you stick it on, which makes the fixation strong. 180 degree extension (mounted on plastic dashboard): suction/sticking: no problem, sticks very well. (At first I clipped it to the window at home and struggled to take it off.) It's even colder where I live, so I can't comment on the long wait in a very hot car. I have 2 other suction based sticky holders that I have used and they had issues when it got too hot but I mean that's to be expected from a sticky slime holder I guess. Everyone. I could still read Waze just fine. On an average track, the shake can be 10% more than on a new track, but that's okay. When you're driving on a less-than-ideal city road, there are a lot of bumps, and you know, the rougher the road, the more it's going to bounce a little. Note 9: Obviously heavier than the iPhone 7, but generally about the same results, maybe 5-10% more shake in the same scenarios. I had no problem reading Waze. (Seen someone comment that he can't read at all because he's so wavy. First of all, you shouldn't try to read while driving, so yeah.) I won't tell you how to hold it. less than 180 degrees because I was very happy with that and the smaller angle just made the wobble less and the slight wobble didn't bother me at all. The part that holds the phone itself is a very smooth top and is close and easy to use with one hand. Strong hold and no problems. I could see how it wobbled more if you had a bigger phone and turned the holder sideways as it would affect the center of balance. I have 2 flat magnetic mounts in my car right now and I think they might get stuck at some point. use both just because I'm thinking about using this for a bedside vacuum to watch movies in bed cos that would be perfect. Or maybe pull out a larger holder I have that fits my Nintendo Switch and you can play in bed without holding the Switch. Not quite decided yet. One thing I would really like to see in the future is this type of retractable/adjustable arm, but use a magnetic holder instead of a squeeze holder. That would be great. (Maybe even make the arms out of cast aluminum so there is no movement, that would be great)
