Review on Sony Mirrorless Camera Interchangeable Built by Hayden Lim (Hayden L ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

Lived with A7 III for 3 years, decided to upgrade. Upgraded mainly for: 1) Autofocus (Expectations met by 60-70%) 2) Video in 10 bits (expectations just met) I did not notice the difference in the menu, I got used to the old one. The noise at high ISO is about the same. Pros: 1) More tenacious autofocus than the A7 III (although cats are still hard to shoot too fast) 2) Finally, you can close the shutter when the camera is turned off so that less dust flies on the matrix, in the A7 III I had to use a pear regularly 3) You can shoot 10-bit video, it's easier to do color grading later / with less quality loss 4) Both slots support UHS II cards (but only one CF Express), in Lossless Compressed Raw shooting mode, you can shoot almost endlessly, the buffer does not clog 5) A miracle happened: Sony made a swivel screen, it became much more convenient to shoot from the ground in portrait orientation 6) Rings for attaching the belt do not rattle when you move the camera, do not fall into the sound of the video :) 7) All sorts of nice little things in terms of ergonomics, like a video / photo mode switch, the ability to fix the exposure compensation wheel 8) More resolution than A7 III with the same file size (meaning RAW on A7 III vs lossless compressed raw on A7 IV), although it is still possible to use this resolution, perhaps only at low ISOs Has some cons 1) Video 4k60p - cropped only 2) Rolling Shutter in electronic mode is noticeable in the photo, for example, under unpredictable lighting, stripes in photographs are constantly obtained 3) 10 frames per second - only when shooting Compressed Raw, in Lossless Compressed - about 5, by eye. I have enough, but it's a little embarrassing
