One of the best inventions the motorcycle lock industry has ever made (bravo kryptonite!). Absolutely essential if you use any type of hard drive lock. You can forget your bike has a lock and if you start moving you will at best fall and at worst ruin your very expensive front brakes. A great visual reminder but also a great visual deterrent for thieves. I've been using these cables for almost thirty years. Unfortunately, they invented the cord AFTER they invented the disc lock, so in my day I badly damaged the front brakes on two different bikes.
