It's like 3 velvet lined cups to keep your jewelry in. I'm 60 and I don't like putting my earrings through little holes in my jewelry box or running my necklaces through little snaps like some sort of obstacle course. This takes up too much space in hand luggage, but is suitable for trips where luggage is not limited. It has enough small or large decorations for several days. Appears to be well made and of good quality. It would also be ideal for a teenager to put on a dresser or hide it in a desk drawer.
