Seriously, my prayers have been answered. I only wish I had thought of investing in this mattress pad while I was pregnant. It could save me (literally) a big headache. I've never had any luck with mattresses, but I've never blamed mattresses for not sleeping well. Apparently I'm an acrobat in my sleep and do things with my body that could compete with little Linda Blair for her money. I wake up a million times each night with pain in my head, neck, back, hips, legs, literally everywhere. the same mattress in the spare room as in my bedroom. She once told me that her hips and lower back are killing her since she slept on the mattress in the guest room, even though it's a pretty expensive brand of pillow. She asked me if I could order her a Revain mattress topper and she would give me a refund. I was so tormented at this point that I bought two straight away – one for the guest bed and one for me. And if I didn't have nothing but nightmares, I would insist that I dreamed this amazing experience with this mattress topper. I mean, I really don't even have the words for it. I haven't recovered from the pain yet because such damage will take a long time to repair. But I noticed a clear difference. My body feels so good. I don't constantly toss and turn to get comfortable. It's just pure bliss. It may seem strange, but it's like a hug. It does. It really is like that. Like a hug from Pillsbury Dough Boy. Some technical details: 1) It was very easy to set up. 2) There was only a very faint odor that dissipated almost immediately. 3) I was so desperate to use it that I didn't use it. I didn't even wait the full 48 hours as suggested, but he seemed very plump right away. The density is perfect for me. 4) It fits my king size bed perfectly. 5) It appears to be durable, unlike some toppers I've seen or used in the past that tear or discolor easily. Time will be the ultimate test, so I can't guarantee it 100 percent, but from my observations it is. I will update if necessary. 6) It lives up to the claim of not retaining heat and maintaining a cool and comfortable body temperature (which is extremely important for someone like me as I practically have to live in an igloo). So yes I am very impressed so far and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. To be honest, I've never been so excited before bed. My fiancé loves it and was a little upset I even got it because he liked the mattress the way it was but now he loves THIS one more. And even my little dog, who has become neurotic since my baby was born, seems to be sleeping next to me a little more comfortably and peacefully now. I'm just writing about this and I want to go upstairs and jump into bed. I'm starting to wonder if they put something in this thing if you know what I'm talking about because I'm an addict. I'm just having fun. May be.
