Not suitable for this purpose

These are 8 gauge wire which is about the thickest speaker wire you will ever use so you might think they have a comparable design at the end scoops. . However, they are too small to accommodate a 5-pin speaker connector typical of high quality speakers. The shoulder blade opening is too narrow. The fact that most people don't use 8 gauge speaker wire (12ga and 14ga are more typical sizes) and its ferrule is too small to fit high quality speaker terminals makes this product unusable. .
