Exceeds Expectations

I normally give 3 stars to indicate a product has met my expectations, but this product performs better than I hoped. I was tired of manually running monitor cables between my home PC and my workstation, so I connected everything to this KVM. I'm happy with how easy it all came together. I am pleased that the sound system follows the active computer. And I'm particularly impressed that I can connect my printer's USB cable to the KVM and this printer is available to any computer that is active on the KVM. One-touch switching between computers means my wife can switch to our home computer without having to learn new technology. sound system I have an extra audio cable for my sound system and there is no jack for it on the KVM and I think this jack is where I get the feedback that is causing the crackling. So I doubt it's because of KVM. But cotton is enough to kick my cat out of the room! :) Other thoughts: I'm using a wireless keyboard and mouse combo and the base station is connected to one of the USB ports on the KVM. I read some reviews that said they couldn't get wireless devices to work with KVM, but I have NO issues with it. Also, I use VGA for one of my monitors and DVI for the other. I chose this KVM because it has one of each. I've thought about getting a KVM with two DVI inputs and then using a DVI to VGA adapter, but I've read that doesn't always work either. I solved this problem and I am very happy with how this product works! Having owned this product for two years, I still love it. From what I remember it was expensive. in the over $400 range. but i wish i could pay more than $600 to get a 4 port model! It's so nice to have a KVM that I can use with two monitors. I use one port for my home PC and the other for my work laptop docking station. But if I had a 4 port model I could switch to the server and my wife could probably connect the Mac.
