Review on ๐Ÿ€ StepNGrip Courtside Mat for Enhanced Court Traction - Revolutionary Sticky Solution for Basketball Volleyball Players - Long-lasting, Non-replaceable Sheets, Ultimate Grip Power by Larry Gaines

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent build quality - the board has enough weight to stay on the ground. I've seen player improvements.

If you thought this board was just for high school/college, think again. We bought this for a 9-10 year old park & rec team and a more competitive private league. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. We've seen other "tear-off boards" but the films seemed to stick to the player's shoes. This board is heavy enough to stay in place and not flex (for the most part, it rises when the players shoes are already clean). My 10 year old child plays in 2 teams. We used the playmat for the first time on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The Saturday courtyard is dirty. Many of our key players are afraid to make a jump stop because they could slip and fall or receive a phone call along the way. This is the first time I've heard the creaking of the court in this gym and it came from our team, not theirs. Our entire team used it. They all performed on her before the game and whenever they replaced her. It only takes 2 seconds. Not only does this give our players a better grip, but it also gives them the confidence to play harder and move faster because they don't have to worry about slipping. . For our second game on Sunday the course was in better shape but the amount of dirt/hair/sand picked up by the mat was amazing. Cleaning is easy and takes a few minutes in the sink with soap and water. As directed by the manufacturer, I applied a thin coat of rubbing alcohol to it after fully degreasing it with soap and water. I think it helps a little with the stickiness of the gel. I've only used it twice but I think this board will make good use of us. I wanted to take a picture of the board after one use and will do so after next week's games.
