Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 205/60 R16 96T winter by Adam Kotowski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

So-so quality, price doesn't match quality.

Used on VW Passat B7 for two seasons. I can’t say that she doesn’t cling to snow and ice at all, but she let me down at least 4 times. Three times I remember well: 1) I drive at 60 km per hour and change lanes on a snowy road. Almost passed into the opposite direction. Barely kept in the lane. After alignment, he was in a semi-conscious state. 2) I am driving on a snowy road 50-60 km per hour. About 300 meters ahead I see a cluster of cars at a traffic light. I'm on the brakes. After 50 meters I understand that nothing is happening at all. I had to run into a snowdrift with my right wheel. It braked on the snow, generating a fountain 5 meters high. It stopped at a maximum of 15 meters from the first car. 3) On a snowy road, I try to turn right at a maximum speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour. No response from the car at all. I was stupidly carried forward 10 meters to a snowdrift. And even then, because I started to slow down "to the floor. " After these tires, the Pirelli brand does not exist for me!

Pros
  • can't say it's noisy
Cons
  • actually does not work in extreme situations
