I just bought a new Sandstone Microsoft Surface 3 Laptop (Metal Keyboard). I did some research beforehand to confirm this is a metal keyboard as this case ONLY FITS this keyboard. It fits perfectly like a glove. It actually arrived the same day as my laptop, so I put it on right out of the box to protect it from scratches. I've read that a laptop's surface scratches easily, so I wanted to prevent that. In this case, the laptop does not close completely on one side, but that doesn't bother me, it's not very noticeable. I have kids and wear multiple rings a day so I knew they needed to be protected from scratches. I love this purchase and highly recommend making sure your laptop stuff is compatible beforehand.
