Let me save you a lot of time if you are looking for a good spike finding tool do not buy this one it is so inaccurate as it says , what there hairpin bend and no 15 holes later. Just pay around 25.00 for one and you'll get a clear reading and you don't have to drill 15 holes. I ended up doing it the old fashioned way with a hammer and noting the difference in sound.
