Not interchangeable
Precision headlight installed on my RV. I kept the old control box, the cables are longer and it's already plugged into my wall. A friend did the exact same thing and it works perfectly. But I get red light when I press green, or blue when I press red. The control unit had to be compatible. The old remote control even reproduces different colors.
