Like a few others here, I was disappointed to learn that this material is about twice as thin as the average 3M clear vinyl "bra". I ended up having to throw this one away because it was too thin to use as a "bra" and very difficult to work with. The 3M product, on the other hand, processed very well and was noticeably thicker and stronger. It's more like a window tint on your paintwork - I can't imagine it protecting against anything that actually hits your car - rather it's meant to prevent very minor damage like tree sap or bird droppings. Not recommended unless you know what you are getting and what you are getting into.
