The stand arrived at my house on-time, which always puts me in a positive mood. I opened the box, and three items are inside, the baseplate, the stand itself, and a plastic bag with a screw and an allen (hex) wrench. There were no instructions, but I can't imagine too many people will struggle with assembling it. Place the stand in the slot on the base plate, flip the base plate over, insert the screw, tighten until snug with the allen wrench. Easy peasy!I must say, I was pleasantly surprised that it held both my phone and my tablet. The stand will fold back several degrees, making it perfect for working and for reading recipes in the kitchen. The holder stays put, even with a heavy tablet. I will say, though. Do NOT shift the slide all the way down to 0 degrees with a large tablet. I have a Samsung Tab S7+, and it immediately fell when the stand was at 0 degrees. I caught it, so no harm no foul, but be warned. I don't plan on ever using it at 0 degrees, as I am a very tall man, so the full 60 degrees is perfect for me.Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the product and I am glad I made the purchase. If you're in the market for a basic stand, I recommend this one!
