USB charging cable missing. At first I thought maybe this isn't the right model because it has a battery compartment on the back/bottom. However, the battery compartment has no contacts, it is not designed for battery operation. However, it does have a USB port. Luckily I found a suitable cable that can charge the scale. I left it charging and went out for a couple of hours. On my return I checked and the battery was charged. Scales in manual mode report weight quickly. The display is bright and easy to read. You can access more data via the Bluetooth app. This data is not available in manual mode (just step on the scale). Funnily enough, my Weight Watchers scale displays weight, BMI, body fat, body water, bone density and more by selecting a custom setting and simply stepping on the scale. These smart scales require the application to create a user profile and access that record. The user guide/manual uses incredibly small text. To make reading the manual easier, be sure to have a magnifying glass handy. The scale looks attractive in a modern minimalist style. It should be combined with most interior items. If it had a USB charging cable, it would be rated higher. Based on first experiences and impressions, it gets a rating of 3.75 to 4 stars.
