When we read the description discussing the zip we assumed this meant the top zip was fully closed. I wish we had seen a review that mentioned it wasn't. The zipper only covers part of the bodice which is definitely not what we were looking for. This is shown in the picture. We've been looking for the security of a full-length zip, so we're not sure what we'll be thinking about when we use it. It also looked small when we unpacked it, much smaller than it looked in other photos. We got this for an upcoming trip and don't want to mess around with a return at the moment so we'll see how it goes and update. UPDATE: We enjoyed it more than we expected. It's definitely bigger than it looks and fits everything we wanted to put in it. Looks beautiful, more stylish than a regular bag. 3 inner pockets worked well. We've used it a lot since our trip, both for the looks and the fact that it works well. The lack of full illumination is still an issue. Granted we didn't want it buttoned up often, but those few times it was nice not to worry about something slipping through the gaps. Also, it's not that easy to do a quick zip. With an extension zipper, closing really requires two hands: one holding the extension and the other closing the zipper. This zipper extension can also be a nuisance when getting in and out of the bag as it extends across the bag when the bag is open. bag for every day. It holds a ton, is very durable and the 3 pockets are enough to store small items. It still looks new. We still have the same issues with the partial zip and difficulty dodging the zip when the bag is open, but these are minor overall. Definitely recommend it!
