Best to check polarity in "Accessories & Consumables " section

As mentioned before, check the polarity of the connector before inserting the battery. My Eton radio was upside down. Easy to change with a pick. Squeeze the pawl and gently pull the wire. Make sure the two wires don't touch each other when you switch them.
