I already have two standing external monitors, but after working at home for more than a year, I'm tired of being tied to one place and not being able to move around the house. This monitor is perfect for my needs. With a diagonal of 17 inches and a screen that's big enough yet portable, I can get a little change of scenery when I'm away from my home office. I can work from my patio when the weather warms up! The picture quality is even better than my 22.5".
