Does not smell of lavender

When I took the duvets out of the linen closet, I noticed that they smelled stale. After washing them before putting them away I didn't want to wash them again so decided to try the laundry spray. I found this product and since I love lavender I decided to give it a try. When I first smelled it I thought it smelled almost like soap and I hoped it didn't smell like lavender. Then, as the smell settled on my comforter, it got pretty nasty. It didn't refresh my blanket of fresh fields of lavender, in fact the musty linen closet scent was very lively and good, but now accompanied by a tart, perfumed, headache-inducing, slightly cigarette smoke bouquet. I was choking, my husband was choking, my mother was choking, my kids were choking, I'm pretty sure the dogs were choking, and the blanket was overwashed. Since then, I've stashed this material far in the back of my closet for fear of the stench it would produce if I tossed it in the sink. Now you really get a lot for your money as three sprays destroyed a king size ceiling, you can do a lot of damage with one bottle! I'm sure some people like this smell but my family doesn't.
