Difficult to assemble but interesting

I bought this because I don't have space to build another dollhouse and I love music boxes and carousels. I didn't have any breakage issues during most of the build because I used a sharp utility knife to work around the parts before removing them from the sheets. The part that broke was the outer ring, which was about level with the horse's legs, which had hearts attached to the top. It broke in two places when I sanded the edges. I used Quick Hold craft glue because wood glue takes a long time to dry and needed to be held together because the tape wouldn't hold it tight enough. The only other problem was getting the horse gears to line up properly. I suggest you get your own wax because the little bit that comes with it is a joke. Too difficult to apply and not nearly enough for any parts that require wax. I used a soy candle my son gave me and it has a slightly greasy quality which I feel is necessary for it to move properly. Anyway, looks like I'm going to make another one because my granddaughter saw it facetiming in the background and said I need to send it to her. I saw somewhere that the build time is 4.5 hours. I totally disagree and don't see that it's even possible. It's not something that can be put together. Patience is really what you need to put it together and get it working. I have no regrets that I bought it and will be making another one soon. Oh, one more tip, and that's there are a few pieces I recommend gluing like these hearts and the bracket halves onto that outer center circle, but be careful where the glue goes or it could match the im There are ways that should move. I used gel pens on mine FYI and added a few nail stones.
