I'm a big circuit maker and work mostly with permanent vinyl and HTV. Weeding is removing small parts that you don't want to see in your design. This can be very tiring and tiring for the eyes. Cricut has this amazing light pad that illuminates your project so you can see your cut lines, making your job so much easier and less stressful on the eyes. . . and costs $60. It's not that expensive, but when you look at the cost of the car, vinyl, mats, light presses, etc., it's a hell of an expensive hobby. I came across tracer pads for $19-$25 and thought it might be worth a try. This thing is just great - a strong but thin plastic pad (thinner than my iPad) and a good size - 12.5 x 8.5 inches. illuminated area. It's USB powered, so a thin cable that plugs into my existing USB hub on my workstation rather than a big, thick cable that needs to be plugged into an outlet. It has 3 levels of brightness, the brightest of which is really bright - enough to get through the dark. My kids also use it to find the reason, well mom - that's what it's for ;)
