You get what you pay for
I’ve had this too long to return it, so hopefully my loss can be your gain. The ball doesn’t release when you loosen the knob. It sticks, and has to be forced to make the ball free up. No way you can smoothly pan or tilt during a video, you have to stop the recording to move the camera then tighten the knob again. I’d have returned it if I hadn’t had it too long before I used it for the first time. Looks great, seems to be made of good materials. But the manufacturing must be sub-par.
