I specifically sold the Tamron 24-70 of the first generation (which is A007), as it sucked dust. The sharpness of the new one (A032) is noticeably higher, not according to MTF, but according to live photos with hair, leaves, and so on. Vignetting is significantly better (in the sense that it is smaller) at the wide end and full hole. The monolithic body with seals inspires confidence in use and the fear of gouging it by accident disappears. I recommend it as the main regular zoom. If you have an old tamron (A007), then you donβt have to go over without special need.
