I bought this plastic aquarium on September 21, 2014 because I was looking for something like an aquarium to make a terrarium as a gift. I actually wanted to buy a glass bowl for my terrarium, but everything I looked at was too expensive for me. I just wanted something for my terrarium that would be easy to use and look good. Well I stumbled across this 1.5 gallon plastic fish bowl, looked at it a few times and turned it down because it was plastic and I really thought it looked cheap. But the high cost of glass made me want to go back to the plastic bowl, and I figured since it's under $10 and eligible for Prime shipping, I can at least give it a try." Things that i need to build my terrarium i decided i would really try the plastic bowl and i went back and ordered a second 1.5 gallon plastic bowl ordered on the 21st and delivered as promised on the 23rd 2 bowls came in separate boxes and both were very well bubble wrapped and the first box I opened had a perfectly round plastic fishbowl all shiny and perfect which I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this clear plastic bowl was, it looked like glass , but it wasn't. The second box I opened also contained a clear plastic bowl, but I knew right away that was the problem.. with a bowl. One side of it was bruised scht and it had a capital D in it! I thought "Oh no!" But I took it out of the box, put my hand in the bowl, smoothed out the dent and the bowl was like new! With my two plastic aquariums, I started assembling my terrariums. I had a small clear glass vase that I also wanted to use as a terrarium so I put 3 terrariums together and when I was done you couldn't tell the 2 bowls were plastic! I gave one of the plastic terrariums to a friend and he absolutely loves it! It was his very first terrarium and he really wanted to show it off! So Tom Tominaga's 1.5 gallon plastic bowl was a real hit and I really liked it and gave it 5 stars and I will be ordering more to build more terrariums!
