hot. (Xenon lamps get very hot!). Xenon bulbs have a warm 2700K color temperature so we ordered LED bulbs which were advertised as 'warm 2700K' and were 'Amazon's choice'. Once installed and compared to the original Xenon, the LEDs produced a harsher 3000K white light that looked horrible with our countertops and tile backsplashes. So we tried these LEDs from XBRLAMP and they look very nice, just like 2700K should be. Not only that, they don't flicker like any of the other company's LED bulbs. In terms of brightness, I'd say the 2w LED is about as bright as the original 20w xenon. I suspect the 3W LED bulb is too bright. Note: We do not use them with a dimmer. They shimmer when darkened. Overall we are very happy with this product and are pleased to have reduced the energy consumption of our under cabinet lights by 90%.
