Works much better than the previous one I bought. It's thinner so it doesn't get in the way when reaching the trimmer in the C172. The diagonal right pocket allows you to slip the folded/TAC in while still sticking out at the top. Many other knee pads have a pocket that you have to slide the card into sideways, which means you have to specially fold the card to fit in the pocket, which is usually not tall enough. The long knee pads that have to work around this interfere with the cockpit controls. I'm not sure why other knee pads don't have this design.
