I have to start this off with the fact that I carry a tab s7+ with me as an extra screen to work with. It's totally unfair to compare this budget tablet to one that costs six times as much. Regardless, I feel like this tablet falls short in some pretty important ways. Pros: USB-C charging, great display for this price range, battery lasts about 10 hours as I used it, 64GB on a budget Android tablet is great, Android 9 is relatively new, wifi card is fast. Cons: The two main issues I had with this tablet are the charging port and the processor. The charging port is USB C, but PD chargers don't recognize it to the point where they don't even provide standard 5V 1A. I had to either use a regular USB connector on the charger or use the brick that came with it. Not a big deal considering it's a budget device, but for a bit more you can get a duo of Chromebooks or Tab S6 Lites that support better charging and have much better performance. Heck, for the same price you could even get a 10-inch Revain Fire tablet that properly supports USB-C charging (my Fire HD 8 sells for about 1/3 the price). Which brings me to the second problem, the processor. so weak that Mediatek processors look fast. My Raspberry Pi 4 could circle around it. Pages full of ads stuttered. There's no dedicated GPU and Google Play won't even let you download half the games they have. are listed and those that are supported hang. Despite my harsh criticism, this is not a bad device. It works great for what it's intended for, video streaming. It will work as a perfect babysitter for kids who love to watch YouTube or Netflix. The metal-like plastic body is durable and lightweight. With the right ad blocker, websites, especially news outlets, load correctly and the screen is bright and clear to read/see. Just know what you're getting.
