I've owned this monitor for about three years and have no major complaints. The default settings have decent color, and the overdrive and virtual sync features have always worked pretty well. I did notice some screen tearing when the screen scrolls down, but that only happened to me (noticeably) once a month or so. About a year ago I got a MacBook with an IPS display, which made me realize that some of the colors weren't working, so I adjusted it by eye. After the adjustment, the screen looked better and the pixels became even a bit more unobtrusive. (These displays vary in quality, so take these settings with caution and use lagom.nl to tweak them to your liking.)
