I am a lighting and sound designer/contractor, but have not yet specialized in OSD PA equipment. Decided to give it a try. Bought this item for a zone system in a concert hall and cafe (for background noise). Delivery was on time, packaging was great. But out of the box this amp was terrible. A lot of noise has been added to the signal. Troubleshooting uncovered the culprit of the PA270. I hooked up other amps to this system (e.g. Yorkville) and everything came out clear as a bell. I wish I could give the OSD the benefit of the doubt and assume it's a faulty device. but I made the mistake of cracking the box after the 30 day return window so I'm sticking with this stone. For this reason I have to do without OSD in future projects. Be extremely careful with OSD PA270!
