We use this in the Credit Union Lobby for background music. Sounds great and costs a lot less than the estimates we got from other sources.

Awesome! Extremely versatile and once I worked out the configuration I needed it just worked. After connecting my home console to the IP->RS232 converter and connecting to the PAM-1270, after a few minutes I had full control over each zone (a zone is two channels if you want it to be stereo ): power, positive commands are also for louder, quieter, mute and loud. A year has passed and still OSD Multi-Zone has not failed. And I rarely turn off the product. The device works in our office with a 70V power supply. Inputs and outputs are isolated for each channel. However, it also offers 1 constant flow channel leading to all channels. The remote is only good because it's pretty basic, but it does the job of adjusting the volume. I am a lighting and sound designer/contractor, but have not yet specialized in OSD PA equipment. Decided to give it a try. Bought this item for a zone system in a concert hall and cafe (for background noise). Delivery was on time, packaging was great. But out of the box this amp was terrible. A lot of noise has been added to the signal. Troubleshooting uncovered the culprit of the PA270. I hooked up other amps to this system (e.g. Yorkville) and everything came out clear as a bell.
