Review on 🎶 Pro-Ject Essential Turntable: Acryl-E Acrylic Platter Upgrade for Enhanced Performance by Eric Sharp

I really like the hand controls and the smooth ride - especially with the acrylic disc upgrade. But two things bother you: 1. You have to hold the device with your right hand to turn on the power switch, otherwise it will slip off. You need some kind of friction feet to keep it in place.2. Dealing with the switch and removing the washers often causes the belt to shift and it is NOT easy to get the thin belt-like "rubber" back in place. At the same time, the sound and the absence of extraneous noise are mediocre. Outperforms other turntables I've tried in the same price range, I still highly recommend it despite some minor operational issues.
