I have been using this mattress cover for two weeks now and I am very glad I decided to buy it. I have an Ikea mattress - it's quite hard so a mattress topper is a must. My last mattress pad has gotten thinner in the last two years - as mattress pads do - so I finally decided on a new one. I found out about it because of the price and the rating. Now that I have this topper I understand why I like it so much. It arrived in a small zipped bag (photo attached) and I doubt I got the right size (I ordered a queen topper). Turns out the topper was just vacuum sealed - it was fun watching it inflate. I let the topper air out for a few hours while I was at work and it ended up being about 2 inches thick. I don't feel like it's going to be blown away yet, but will update when it does. Some mattress pads, especially foam mattress pads, smell chemically, but fortunately this is not the case. All in all it was a great purchase! Update (April 8, 2018): I got stains on the mattress pad so I applied stain remover, as I said, tossed it in the washer and dryer without bleach and it came out like new. The thickness is about the same as mine. Nevertheless very satisfied!
