Pros: Verizon call quality is excellent. When opening websites, Google Images is actually faster than some of the more expensive phones I've tried before! The action camera shoots pretty decent videos. With the right lighting, photos come out clear. The stylus is useful for taking quick notes. Two speakers and a headphone jack are great things to have and keep. Cons: Battery life for a 4000mAh phone is pretty disappointing even on the first day of use. About 5 hours of screen time. The Moto display, where you wave your hand to turn on the screen, is missing. This was a useful feature of Moto. Instead, you get a one-touch check. Last but not least the problem with pure Android. Many Android phones allow you to adjust notification volume separately. Unfortunately, Moto follows the pure form of the Google Pixel and removes this feature. You have to mute your ringer or media volume to disable text messaging, which seems like a huge step backwards. Conclusion: Overall a solid device for its price. With battery drain being the obvious concern, the G Stylus can be a great everyday device for those who don't want to spend $500-$1,000 on a phone.
