I bought three of these expecting them to be a bit shorter and wider than they are but they are not uncomfortable in size. I used mine for coffee beans and cubes, separately of course. The one I kept my dice in didn't get a single scratch from even the metal dice I use, and I was a bit aggressive when playing the dice. I wouldn't recommend taking them out of the house to move things as they are fragile and you shouldn't put hot things in them as they could break due to their acrylic. I probably won't be using any of these for dice again because I couldn't take the dice with me because the large storage bin is so convenient that I don't have to hunt for the specific dice I need. If I ever need more storage I will definitely get these, they are not perfect but they do a great job of keeping things safe and will last a long time.
