Update: Excellent Customer Service

Update: I was just about to write a legitimate review and get on with my life. At the same time, after reading the review, the manufacturer and seller of the product were contacted. They asked for clarification on the issues raised and said they would look into those specific issues. A very specific and not just generalized spam response, which already impressed me. They were sincere and tried to make things right. That kind of customer service doesn't usually exist anymore and I have to say I found it refreshing. The fact that they listened to features and responded to learn and improve the product really sets it apart from previous customer support interactions I've had. I may have had issues with the product but I have to say I found the customer service above and beyond. With that in mind, I've raised my overall rating from 1 star to 3, knowing that if you encounter any issues, they will contact you to help and troubleshoot issues. The company itself easily gets a 5-star rating. Other companies could learn a lot from them. To understand the problem, the first review is below: They arrived today and I wasted no time opening the box and proceeding with the installation. Upon inspection, the item looks great. High-quality lenses with excellent seals seal the floor in time. A simple plug and play adapter: plug it into the socket of the old bulb, plug in the new bulb and the new plug will fit into the new lens unit (note this is the point of the adapter. New lens units will not work with your old lightbulb). sockets). Everything is good and easy. Spend a few minutes and you're done. So I turned on the light. Only two of them worked. So I climb back in and disassemble one of the broken ones. So this is a big disadvantage for them. The adapter sucks. The male part, which plugs into the original jack, uses tiny little conductors that just aren't big enough to support the connection in older outlets. Maybe smaller sizes or just cheap production. The bottom line had to put a cap on to fix this poorly made product. I ended up taking out a soldering iron and just added some solder to the leads. Not that easy, as the conductors are literally a micro-thin piece of wire. So it's a bit troublesome to stick the solder to it. And it's even harder to get the solder to actually stick where you need it. You then have to file the solder down so that the adapter actually fits back into the original lamp socket. A huge pain and totally unnecessary to do quality control during build. Are they worth it? Not really. I would honestly buy any other brand. Yes I got them working but I really don't think they will last much more than a short time. And given that it took a long time to get this horrible product to work, I would almost call it a total waste of time. The concept is great and should be super simple. But then again, poor quality control and poor workmanship make this a terrible product.
