Decided to try it on my iPhone 7 Plus. I do Instacart and that's why you have to use your phone all the time. I didn't like plugging and unplugging the traditional OEM charging cable from the phone so I went that route, it charges fine on my Qi compatible vent mounted car charger (although it's a cheap version as requested) , also charges on my Qi-compatible home charger that I ordered through Amazon. I have a phone case and it works too! Be aware that Qi charges your phone slower than cable, but it gets the job done for me. This receiver sits between my phone and the phone case and charges on any Qi compatible charger I've posted on. However, my phone case is not thick, but unyielding. I didn't tape the handset to my phone because he wanted to test it first, it's wedged between the phone and the case, won't move or charge, so I'll leave it as is.
