I had a breast reduction surgery last year and can't wear a bra all day because of my scars. However, my nipples stick out all day for no reason, so I had to look for a solution. I've started with plastic or fabric but it was terribly painful to remove. Maybe because I'm more sensitive because of the surgery. But I couldn't imagine that they wouldn't inflict pain even on a person without surgical intervention. I bought my first pair of silicone from Victoria's Secret and they were great but only one pair. They are also great and come with cases and in different shapes. You can't tell you're wearing them under your clothes unless you're wearing a thin shirt or sweater, you can see them. Mine stayed on all day and I have no doubt that I will get multiple uses from each pair.
