I was disappointed that these earrings didn't use standard thread sizes. Most 16G jewelry I own has 0.9mm internal threads and this one was significantly thicker so I can't mix and match heads/pins with my other jewelry. Disappointing but ok there are a lot of these in the set so I just use them and keep them separate from other earrings so as not to mix them up. The first thing I did was take them all apart. to delete them. Well, as it turned out, the thread on individual earrings, apparently, is also non-standard. It's impossible to tell the difference between the posts just by looking at them, but not all heads match all. I tried to get them together and finally gave up. See photo - the bottom earring shows the head screwing flush to the stand, but the other two won't screw any further and there is a gap. Better make sure you have a set that fits before trying to put it on. It is inserted into the rack before you start screwing it in. You'll start threading it right away, so you'll have to hold it perfectly and twist it at the same time to bring it together. I'm pretty good at dressing up in these earrings, but these ones particularly annoyed me.
