Review on RCA RP5012 Digital Voice Recorder by Dave Hammon

The device works well, connected to the police radio, it records the nightly programs that I play at breakfast in the morning! Works perfectly! I monitor police, fire brigade and medical radio traffic. Just make sure your scanning radio has the necessary "plugs" to connect to this device. I also use a power bank for electricity instead of batteries. I've been using mine for a few years now and it's working great today with no hiccups. I bought mine used. Great product and EZ to use. I hooked up a larger speaker to the unit so I could hear it through the kitchen/dining room. Use the device in DICTION MODE WITH AVR ON to enable automatic recording. Recording will end after wireless transmission is complete. Really very helpful. Entertaining.
