Review on Micro Swiss HW NOZ MK10 04 Plated Resistant Nozzles by Charlie Dillon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The first update you should get.

Why print upgrades to install e3d Bowden when you can pay $15 and learn any advanced printer that is often poorly calibrated. I'm not saying v6 hot ends aren't on bees' knees, but even with direct drive I get amazing prints, most of which are, in my opinion, slightly better than what comes out of a naive user's Ultimaker. I can see my Monoprice i3 printing better than many Mk2s. Ultimately, when you think about how little you can spend while still getting the bottom line for the meager fraction of those competitive FDM printers approaching the pro, it leads me to believe that the success of printers depends on how good they are. Of course I haven't seen many of Anet's shimmery and perfect prints, but they exist and one of the reasons their prints are good is because they have these jets.

Pros
  • Made in the USA, wear-resistant Micro-Swiss coated brass nozzles greatly extend nozzle life when used with abrasive materials.
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
