When I ordered this book light I was expecting an inexpensive little light to attach to a book. Well I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is a HUGE light that you can mount on a table, windowsill or chair and not get in the way of your book. It is very bright (with the possibility of dimming) and the light covers most of the area. I see this has many uses beyond just reading - all you need is to add some light to a directional area. You can even use it to work as a mechanic on a vehicle. There's no limit to how you can rotate this, and it stays where you want it (it's not like Spring Lights, which winds back a bit and requires an extra adjustment). Overall I am very impressed and have recommended it to my work team and friends.
