I like the 20 LEDs in this lamp as they emit an even amount of light in an oval shape. You can dim the light to a variable setting by pressing and holding the button. The clip fits my headboard. You need a USB charger to power this lamp (a phone charger will do). The rechargeable battery is a good feature when you need light during a power outage etc.

I'm not sure if some people use reading lights. Some say the ones they got were huge. These are small. I saw another comment about color changing lights. It says that the light changes to white. I charged them and the battery lasted almost 6 hours. The same for the second. They charge very quickly, they're light, they're beautiful, and they make the pages of my book nice and bright so I can stay awake even after reading them before bed! I wish I had had these 15 years ago.

I love this little lamp! I posted photos of three different levels of brightness. The lamp arrived loaded. Can be charged with any micro USB cable. The charge seemed to last a long time. I use light anywhere between 20-60 minutes a night. I think the charge lasted two weeks or more. I clip mine to the drawer by the bed. My son attaches it to his bunk bed (round metal frame). The arm adjusts and stays where I place it. Overall a great purchase!

I originally bought this lamp thinking it would be a reading lamp to attach to my book. When I received it in the mail, I realized that I had bought the table lamp by mistake; However, I'm actually very happy with my mistake. I attached this lamp to my headboard for reading in bed and to be honest it's a lot more convenient than something I would have to attach to my book. The brightness is great and you can adjust it to your liking and the fact that it's rechargeable makes it so much better!

When I received the lamp it was obvious that it had been opened and apparently returned. After trying to use it I know why it was returned. It is assumed that the LEDs should change color when the power button is pressed once and the lamp should go out when the button is pressed twice. Unfortunately it turns off with a touch so I can't get it to change colors as instructed. It just goes on and off. However, it dims when you keep your finger on the button. It would be nice if it actually worked…

I was excited to spend the night reading my recently purchased novel, Cold Brook, but hastily opening the box made me laugh. This thing isn't a book lamp, it's a whole LAMP. When I ordered this book light I was expecting an inexpensive little light to attach to a book. Well I was pleasantly surprised to see that this is a HUGE light that you can mount on a table, windowsill or chair and not get in the way of your book. It is very bright (with the possibility of dimming) and the light covers most of the area. I see this has many uses beyond just reading - all you need is to add some light to a directional area. You can even use it to work as a mechanic on a vehicle.
