Honestly, this thing just saves money! After doing a hand pump on our new boards for the first time and almost giving it up before we were even on the water, this was ordered the next day! The heat in Phoenix tops 110 on a typical summer day, and that's after 10am! We went to the lake late afternoon (around 4pm) with 2 boards and 1 of these inflators. It took about 15 minutes to get the board up to the recommended 12 PSI but...when we were able to start board #2 the unit showed a HOT board and would not turn on. This was NOT a showstopper, I took the unit to the truck and set the AC to bottom vent, cooled it down quickly and filled the 2nd board with a pump. and cool it down with the truck's air conditioner. Not the best solution and most likely won't happen anywhere other than Phoenix, but it's something to be aware of and an easy fix if it has happened to you. came up with our hand pump, about 100 times better and way easier to hit our NoSnow boards. All in all, if you really don't like a 15 minute hand pump workout, this is a great piece of equipment! If you have more than two boards and want to get out of the water quickly, you might want to consider a second one. Also, the number of attachments in this set is amazing, you'll quickly set up your floats or paddleboard like we did, and the automatic pressure shut-off makes it so easy, you just set it up and forget it!
