The title of this review is the actual summary. The HD picture quality is excellent. Dual tuners offer dual viewing, picture-in-picture, dual recording, or watching one channel while recording a second channel. Contrary to what some previous reviews have noted, the key doesn't get hot; it's just a little warm. When connected to a good outdoor antenna, the tuners are more sensitive than my flat screen TV tuners. The program is easy to use and intuitive. CPU usage isn't as bad as I expected and it even runs through a USB hub with no issues. But the software contains bugs and often crashes. If it wasn't for the software bugs I would give 5 stars. FWIW: I am using Happauge software version 8.5. The CPU is an I7 processor running Windows 7. CPU utilization for a single tuner is typically between 5% and 7%, and you can double those numbers if both tuners are in use. EDIT: May 26, 2018 Bugs in the WinTV software keep popping up. aggravating. Without even trying, I can interrupt the program almost at will. However, there's a new problem with the software that's the subject of this edit: it's recording the wrong channel at random times! I have set several entries for repetition. this. every day of the week at a specific time to record a specific channel for a specific period of time. Every weekend the same for specific shows on specific channels. 3 times in the nearly 4 weeks I've had the tuner the channel that actually recorded was NOT the channel I had listed. When I opened the scheduler, I found that the channel specified had spontaneously changed from what I had entered! I originally rated this product 4 stars. But with the discovery of this latest software issue, I'm reducing my rating to 3 stars. If the software works properly, I would give it 5 stars.
