Pump works well caused by pressure drop in the pipeline. Noise is acceptable but definitely audible, like typical RV pumps. The packaging was insufficient to prevent a small tear on the pressure switch cover. Another downside is the hardware. This pump only works with o-rings and lock fittings which are hard to find. At a minimum, the seller must provide a link to Amazon to find them. The fittings provided connect to the pump and are secured with a C-clamp which holds them in place and allows the fitting to be rotated. Then adjust the hose (not included) with clamps (not included). Or up to 1/2 inch IPT in the case of a screen. However, the connected 50M screen is a POS. It draws a lot of air through its large O-ring, and no repair work or silicone grease can stop it. The pump draws in air along with the water, so your system is also filled with air. It also severely limits its suction height. In a pressurized suction situation, this may not be a problem. When used on clear water without a strainer it pumps very nicely, except for the issue with the fittings I would give the pump 4 stars.
