Description of Drainage pump KARCHER SP 1 Dirt (1.645-500.0) (250 W)

SP 1 Dirt is an entry-level model with a capacity of up to 5,500 l/h, designed to work with dirty water with impurity particles up to 20 mm. For pumping dirtier water, such as from ditches and decorative ponds, it is recommended to use an additional filter. The pump is equipped with a float switch, which allows it to work in automatic mode and protects the machine from dry running. Thanks to the switching level, pump operation is possible even at low water levels (up to 25 mm). Ceramic mechanical seal with oil chamber significantly extends the life of the pump. The convenient Quick Connect feature allows you to quickly connect a 1 1/4" hose. If you register your pump online, the product comes with a 5-year warranty.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

The pump was purchased as a gift to parents as a replacement for the Brook pump with a crack in the casing. "Karcher" was greeted by them with distrust because of the plastic case (the "Brook" has a metal one). They even wanted to return it to the store in the first moments - they were afraid of a very strong water pressure (they got used to the power of the old pump). Dissuaded. Turns out he did the right thing. The power, judging by the pressure of the water jet, is the same as that of the…

Pros
  • Build quality. Silent (you can't hear it from the well with drinking water). The depth of water intake is 7 meters. Extended manufacturer's warranty of 5 years (upon registration on the official website).
Cons
  • The pump is quite weighty - a little less than 4 kilograms. The large size of the outlet (1 inch) - the “problem” was solved by buying a non-original plastic adapter for 160 (the original costs about 500). The water pressure is not the strongest - perhaps because of the long hose.

I ordered yesterday, received it today and immediately went to the country house, the drainages flooded, the water left very slowly, the pump pumps quickly, silently, very pleased with the purchase, a useful thing 👌 the only thing is for those who have a smaller hose, buy a hose fitting (20 mm is quite enough )

Pros
  • Excellent and fast download
Cons
  • No

There are pumps in the septic tank. Worked for three years. The septic tank was never pumped out, as a result one pump died. I think this is not the fault of the pump, the instructions say that it is not intended for pumping liquids that are more viscous than water. I installed a new pump in May, now it's the second half of October, everything works .

There are disadvantages, but the product is usable.

It would probably be a wonderful trouble-free pump if it was supplied complete with a Karcher 2.997-201.0 inlet filter, which is offered to be purchased separately for an additional ~ 120220. The winding burned out due to a plastic bag:

Pros
  • Good quality materials and workmanship, low consumption, sufficient performance for a country septic tank
Cons
  • There is no input filter. The overheating/overload protection against blocking of the blades does not work.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Taking his hands off his shoulders, he removed a section of wire from an ancient heater equipped with a plug and a sealed cable connector, and voila! the issue was resolved. Did it leave the warranty on a jet? If it somehow got lost in the mail, I'll update my review to express my loathing of Karcher's customer care, but for the time being I'll remain silent. The benefits: After topas5, the purified water storage well ran dry in a matter of a year. I'm crossing my fingers that it holds up for…

Just a terrible product, very upset.

There is a one-year warranty stated on the market. According to Karcher's service department, the guarantee lasts for two years. I shipped it off to get fixed. A non-repairability certificate was given out. The act has been sent. I applied late, therefore they cancelled my subscription saying the guarantee is just for a year. After days of emailing back and forth, finally wrote that they misunderstood and that the guarantee would be valid for two years. The mistake has not been fixed. The…

Pros
  • Germany's standard of quality impressed me.
Cons
  • No longer functioned after being used for a month. Only pool water is pumped. The blades were manually pushed after he removed the base. Twisted. Therefore, ten additional months were consumed. Needed to send it back for a warranty refund. But then things started going wrong.

The package does not contain a filter for the pump's inlet, therefore it would be foolish to use it to remove contaminated water from the basement. In my situation, the impeller became clogged when the pump sucked in a piece of wood during the second turn on. The guarantee was nullified, however disassembly did help. For a total of 3350r, the filter adds 1500r to the price. The low price is obviously a marketing tactic on the part of the seller. Interesting, but not reliable, is the…

Pros
  • System for rapid release
Cons
  • Reliability

Worst purchase ever, don't make the same mistake.

The pump functioned in the well, pumped clean water, broke down after a year and a half, and I gave it to the service under warranty. They refused, citing damage to the cable, even though the braid itself was damaged and the wires themselves were intact. When you hit the pump, it would start working briefly before ceasing to function at all, but I could start pumping water by hand in 10-15 minutes. I wrote a claim to Karcher while they were silent, thus the cause is obviously not in the wire…

Pros
  • not loud
Cons
  • after 1.5 years, broke

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

We use it to periodically pump out a small pond on the site (they did the drainage wrong for us, and in the heat the water blooms). Handles all dirt and grime. Before that, there was another pump that burned out after a couple of times of use - after all, this is not pumping 10 liters. So for your price range, you are unlikely to find something better. Because this thing is indispensable for those who have their own small, decorative pond or those who are periodically flooded after heavy and…

The product is absolutely worthless, don't buy it.

Maybe I got one with defects out of a thousand of his brothers working flawlessly. The impeller on the pump spun on its own only at the first start of the pump, all subsequent times it was necessary to first disconnect the hose from the connector and scroll it at least a quarter of a turn, otherwise it simply did not start to rotate, although the motor made a sound of a running apparatus, with a 25mm hose connected 15 meters long with with difficulty and for quite a long time trying to pump…

Pros
  • Of the merits, one can single out its size, and then, if it can be counted as a virtue
Cons
  • The pump is really weak, for the recommended hose size it is definitely weak

Despite the loss of the clamp (maybe I was just unlucky), I consider the acquisition successful. I recommend this product for purchase. Pros: In appearance, everything is of high quality, very quiet, when you turn it on, you don’t even understand whether it works or not until you see that the water has gone. The power is enough for me. In comparison with vibropumps of the STREAM type, it's just day and night. I took ALL TOOLS in the St. Petersburg store for 3.252. I think that for this money it

It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

On the market it is written that the warranty is 1 year. The service center Karcher said that the warranty is 2 years. Sent it in for repair. They issued a certificate of non-repairability. Sent the act to . They unsubscribed that the guarantee is 1 year and I applied late. After many days of correspondence with , they still wrote that they were mistaken and the guarantee was true for 2 years and said that they would fix the error on the site. The error is still there. The service took it for…

Pros
  • I thought the quality of Germany
Cons
  • Stopped working after a month of use. Water pumped only from the pool. He took off the bottom cover and pushed the blades by hand. Twisted. So used another 10 months. Wanted to return it under warranty. But then the problems started.

Hands from his shoulders, took a piece of wire with a plug from an old heater, a sealed cable connector - and fixed the problem. Did it fly out of warranty? Xs . if it flew off - I will supplement this review with hatred for the Karcher customer service, but for now I am silent. Pros below: A year rattled on draining the storage well of purified water after topas5. Hope it lasts 5 more years. 2 well rings pump out in 15-20 minutes. Quiet. If the pump is crooked on the den, the float switch may…

The quality is fine, it's fine to use.

Using the pump when pumping contaminated water from the basement does not make sense without an additional filter at the inlet, which is not included in the kit. In my case, the pump sucked a piece of wood at the second turn on, which jammed the impeller. Disassembly helped, but voided the warranty, as I understand it. The filter costs 1500r at the pump price of 3350r. Obviously, this is a seller's marketing ploy that allows you to show a low price. Quick-release hose installation is…

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

I put it in a drainage well 2 meters deep and forgot, it pumps itself, though sometimes the float gets stuck, you have to pull it with your hands, but in general the pump is good for this money. Keep in mind that there is no adapter in the kit, I didn’t find my own anywhere in cash, I bought a similar one from competitors, it came up. Some pros: Relatively quiet, for a power of 250 W it is quite productive. Reliable. Has some cons: Does not always react to the float, you have to pull the cord…

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

The pump worked in the well, pumped clean water, broke down after a year and a half, gave it to the Service under warranty, they refused, citing damage to the cable, although the braid itself was damaged, the wires themselves were intact, when you hit the pump it started working, then stopped working altogether, and I could start pumping water myself in 10-15 minutes . the reason is clearly not in the wire, I wrote a claim to Karcher while they are silent. Quality wants better and the service…
