Using the pump when pumping contaminated water from the basement does not make sense without an additional filter at the inlet, which is not included in the kit. In my case, the pump sucked a piece of wood at the second turn on, which jammed the impeller. Disassembly helped, but voided the warranty, as I understand it. The filter costs 1500r at the pump price of 3350r. Obviously, this is a seller's marketing ploy that allows you to show a low price. Quick-release hose installation is interesting, but unreliable. If the mount breaks, you will not be able to use the pump.
